Check the IP address with the terminal

If you use the Internet at hotspots for free, How to know some of your IP address? Easy. Here's how the windows:
1. Click Start, type "cmd" and press Enter.
2. After the command prompt window appears, type "ipconfig-all" and continue by pressing the Enter key.
3. You can see some IP addresses that are in use.
If you use Ubuntu this way:
1. Open a terminal from menu Applications> Accessories> Terminal.
2. Type "ifconfig", then press the Enter key.
3. + IP address in Linux you'll appear there.
Please note, the IP address (Internet Protocol) is a series of numbers used as identification of computers connected to the network. The length of this figure is 32-bit for IPv4 (IP versi4) and 128-bit for IPv6 (IP version 6).
The subnet mask is a grouping of networks in one network. While the Gateway is a device used to connect one network to another network computer with a different allocation protocol. That said, this device is a bridge that connects the local network to the outside of the larger network. For example, a local network with the Internet.
DNS (Domain Name System) is system that stores information about domain name along with its IP address. This system allows us to visit the Web by name without having to memorize IP addresses.............
